To note the fortieth anniversary of the late Isaac Hayes’s remarkable accomplishment of writing, performing and producing the Grammy-award winning and Academy Award-winning soundtrack for the Gordon Parks-directed movie, Shaft, Jack and Jazz Sunday host K.C. Jones interviewed Patricia Lewis, leader of Isaac Hayes’s back-up vocal group, Hot, Buttered Soul. 
Language Universal Founder Jack Marchbanks co-hosts a weekly jazz program entitled Jazz Sunday on 90.5-FM WCBE Columbus, Central Ohio’s “most listened to public radio station.”
Ms. Lewis is a Facebook friend of Language Universal Co-Founder SIDney Howard, who put her in contact with Jack for this informative Autumn 2011 interview.
